AI Night Paris: Shaping the Future of AI in Education & the Economy
ASPOL, in collaboration with AI Consensus, hosted AI Night Paris, a conference uniting innovators, policymakers, and business leaders from France and Poland to explore the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. This event served as a vital platform for discussions on AI’s future, its policy challenges, and its transformative role in education.
The evening began with an inspirational keynote by Zuzanna Stamirowska, CEO and co-founder of Pathway, who outlined the essential ingredients for building a thriving AI ecosystem: talent, ambition, investment, and access to data and compute power.
The panel discussions delved into some of Europe’s most pressing AI challenges, including venture capital gaps, regulatory landscapes, and the fight to retain top talent, featuring expert insights from Agata C. Hidalgo (France Digitale), Jerzy Krypel (BSJP | bnt), Piotr Krawczyk (Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the OECD), Paweł Śliwowski (Polish Economic Institute), Yoan Di Cosmo (Entrepreneur First), and Clément Bacchi (Lecturer at Sciences Po).
A fireside chat on EdTech explored AI’s potential to revolutionize education, from enhancing learning speed and retention to adapting tools for neurodivergent learners, with contributions from Nejma Belkhdim (nolej), Alan Tripp (Atler), Jan Bartkowiak (Student at Minerva University), and Milan Wojcieszek (Student at Sciences Po).
This incredible event was made possible thanks to the support of Le Village by CA Paris, as well as our partners La French Tech Warsaw and La French Tech Krakow. 2024 New Year event
To kick off the new year, ASPOL, in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in France, hosted a special gathering to welcome Polish students and young professionals in France. This annual event serves as a unique opportunity for students to connect, gain valuable insights, and engage with the Polish professional community abroad.
This year’s highlight was an inspiring discussion with Sławomir Krupa, CEO of Société Générale, who shared his perspectives on the evolution of the banking sector and the significance of diverse backgrounds in today’s job market. The event fostered meaningful exchanges between Polish students, professionals, and representatives of international institutions, reinforcing the strong ties within the Polish diaspora in France.
With the continued support of the Polish Embassy, this event exemplifies ASPOL’s mission to empower Polish students by providing access to networking opportunities, professional insights, and a sense of belonging. We look forward to building on this tradition and offering even more opportunities for our community in the future!
